The ‘Black and Asian Britain’ seminars focus on the history of peoples of African and ‘Asian’ origins in the UK for the past 2000 years. Issues of discrimination and the ‘lived experience’ are also addressed.

Commonwealth Research Seminar Series

International Refugee Law
We are pleased to announce the 2nd year of the ‘International Refugee Law’ seminar series, which aims to provide an accessible and public forum for promoting and facilitating cutting-edge research, debate and collaboration on this topic between academics and practitioners.

New Challenges in Refugee Integration
To mark the 60th anniversary of the Refugee Council, this interdisciplinary series of six seminars on new thinking and directions in refugee integration provides a focal point for scholars and practitioners working on refugee integration in the United Kingdom and internationally to reflect on the state of the art, to present and receive feedback on current work, and to develop research and policy agendas for the future.
