Britain, Brexit and the Future of the Commonwealth: transcript and podcast of Sir Vince Cable's speech now available

On 08 October 2018, the Rt Hon Sir Vince Cable MP, the current Leader of the Liberal Democrats and MP for Twickenham and former Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (2010-2015) delivered the Peter Lyon Memorial Lecture at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies on the subject of 'Britain, Brexit and the future of the Commonwealth'. During his lecture, Sir Vince noted the disparity between the expectations of future post-Brexit relations with Commonwealth countries being raised in Britain and the anxiety of Commonwealth countries themselves.
