Senior Research Fellow Martin Plaut's new book has been announced:

Unbroken Chains book cover

Entitled 'Unbroken Chains: A 5,000-Year History of African Enslavement', the book is "a groundbreaking new history that illuminates the full story of slavery in Africa, from Ancient Egypt to the present."

The book will be published in August 2025 by Hurst.
