Professor Daya Thussu elected as President of the International Association for Media and Communication Research

ICwS Senior Research Fellow Professor Daya Thussu has been elected as President of the IAMCR (International Association for Media and Communication Research), one of the world's oldest global academic professional organizations in the field of media and communication, established in 1957. Professor Thussu will start his four-year tenure in July 2024. He is the first President in the organization's history to come from outside the Western world.
