The James Manor Bursary
The James Manor Bursary is given in the name of Professor James Manor, who has been long associated with the Institute of Commonwealth Studies and who had a pivotal role in founding the MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights. We are honoured to offer this bursary in recognition of his distinguished career.
Eligibility and how to apply
Value
Up to four Bursaries are offered, each equal to up to a maximum of 50% of the applicable tuition fee.
Eligibility
This Bursary is awarded students who have applied for the MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights at the Human Rights Consortium or its Latin American Human Rights pathway.
The bursaries are awarded on a competitive basis according to the academic potential of the applicant, with preference given to students with demonstrated financial need.
Deadline
The 2023 deadline has now passed.
How to apply
Please note that applicants must also have applied to the MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights by the deadline; bursary applicants who have not applied to the MA may not be considered.
